LAMEZIA TERME. Una villa di due piani con seminterrato, di circa 500 mq di superficie, con giardino e dependance, è stato sequestrato dagli agenti del commissariato di Polizia di Lamezia Terme ad Antonio Salatino, 49enne lametino, arrestato nell’ambito dell’operazione antidroga “Tenaglia” portata a termine dallo stesso Commissariato di Lamezia Terme questo Ufficio lo scorso 9 ottobre 2014. L’immobile è dotato di recinzione con un muro in cemento armato lungo molte decine di metri con cancello scorrevole elettrico carrabile e pedonale, video sorvegliato. Nel corso dell’operazione furono eseguite misure cautelari in carcere e agli arresti domiciliari emesse dal GIP presso il Tribunale, nei confronti di 13 persone tutte ritenuti responsabili a vario titolo di detenzione, vendita e trasporto di ingente quantitativo di marijuana proveniente dall’Albania e successivamente trasportata in Puglia ed acquistata dal gruppo lametino per essere immessa sul mercato locale. Le indagini avevano consentito di individuare l’apporto fornito dagli indagati incaricati della mediazione tra gruppi criminali, del trasporto della droga nel ruolo di staffetta e corriere, nonchè di individuare il luogo di custodia dello stupefacente a Lamezia Terme , un furgone parcheggiato in Capizzaglie,in via dei Tigli. Gli indagati lametini devono rispondere pure della coltivazione di due ampie piantagioni di canapa indiana sequestrate il 21 luglio ed il 22 agosto 2014, nel territorio di San Pietro a Maida, precisamente in località Guarna e Iannivecchio. Dopo gli arresti le attività non si sono fermate e su disposizione della Procura di Lamezia Terme sono state effettuate indagini patrimoniali mirate dalle quali è risultato evidente che il Salatino aveva la disponibilità dell’immibile. La proposta della Procura della Repubblica di Lamezia Terme di sequestro anticipato ed in via d’urgenza è stata inoltrata al Tribunale di Catanzaro che ha disposto il sequestro dell’ immobile.
