CATANZARO. Sono dodici i destinatari dei provvedimenti di fermo eseguiti dai Carabinieri su disposizione e della Procura distrettuale antimafia di Catanzaro nell’ambito dell’operazione “Reventinum”, che ha fatto luce sulla faida tra le cosche di ‘ndrangheta Scalise e Mezzatesta nell’area montana della provincia catanzarese.
I fermi hanno riguardato Pino Scalise, 60 anni, Luciano Scalise (40), Andrea Scalzo (37), Angelo Rotella (35), Vincenzo Mario Domanico (42), Salvatore Domenico Mingoia (53), Cleo Bonacci (56), Eugenio Tomaino (54), Giuliano Roperti (49), Ionela Tutuianu (41), Giovanni Mezzatesta (42) e Livio Mezzatesta (49).
Le accuse nei loro confronti e’ quella di associazione di stampo mafioso. Agli indagati sono contestati, a vario titolo, anche i reati di estorsione, violenza privata, sequestro di persona, danneggiamento, detenzione illegale di armi, aggravati dal metodo e dalle finalita’ mafiose. I particolari sono stati resi noti durante la conferenza stampa in Procura a Catanzaro alla quale hanno partecipato il procuratore della Repubblica, Nicola Gratteri, il comandante provinciale dei Carbinieri, Marco Pecci ed il comandante della compagnia di Catanzaro, Giuseppe Carubia.
