“Un invito a proseguire con ancora più determinazione la sua opera a favore dei calabresi onesti contro le organizzazioni criminali, con la totale vicinanza e sostegno di tutte quelle forze istituzionali con noi in primis, che grazie anche al duro lavoro della dottoressa Manzini e degli altri tutori della Giustizia, sperano in un futuro migliore per la nostra tormentata regione”.
Ad esprimere la piena e sentita solidarietà al magistrato Marisa Manzini, ancora una volta oggetto di minacce da parte del boss del clan Mancuso, è il sindaco di Vibo Valentia Maria Limardo.
“Un atteggiamento malavitoso che certifica il proficuo lavoro della Manzini – aggiunge il sindaco di Vibo – da anni in prima linea nella lotta alla ‘ndrangheta, che grazie anche alle sue tante indagine e operazioni svolte sul territorio, sta attraversando una fase di indebolimento che ci auguriamo diventi sempre più una sconfitta totale”.
L’amarezza del sindaco Limardo e di conseguenza lo sprone alle autorità di competenza, affinché si rafforzi il sistema di tutela di chi rischia tantissimo nel fare un lavoro così delicato e pieno di sacrifici, alla luce di quanto emerso pochi giorni fa dal contenuto di una intercettazione in carcere, in cui Mancuso esprimeva ai propri familiari l’odio profondo nei confronti della dottoressa Manzini.
