CROPANI(CZ)/ E’ terminata domenica 23 agosto, davanti ad un numeroso pubblico, sulle sabbiose spiagge joniche di Cropani, la Foot Volley Summer Cup 2020. La competizione sportiva estiva, giunta alla quarta edizione, è stata organizzata ancora una volta da Giuseppe Sinatora, Alfredo Mascaro ed Alessio De Luca, ed è stata ospitata dallo stabilimento balneare Mapapi Beach. Successo per l’organizzazione, con ben 12 squadre iscritte nonostante le innumerevoli difficoltà legate al Covid: “In effetti, hanno dichiarato Sinatora, Mascaro e De Luca al microfono di RTC, la RadioTelevisione della Calabria, non sono mancate le incertezze, dovute a quanto accaduto durante l’anno, ma per fortuna si sono verificate le condizioni per svolgere in sicurezza la manifestazione, chiaramente prestando molta attenzione a norme e disposizioni anti contagio”. Ad aggiudicarsi la vittoria finale e la Summer Cup dell’edizione 2020 è stato il terzetto dell’FC Scrotone, che ha superato nell’ultimo atto il Dream Team per 3 a 2. Terzo posto finale al team dei Calamandruni, vittoriosi 2 a 1 sugli Scumbags. Al termine coppa e festa (con distanziamento) per la vincente e riconoscimenti per seconda e terza classificate e, dulcis in fundo, classiche foto di rito. Ma soprattutto un caloroso arrivederci a partecipanti e pubblico al prossimo anno, sperando di vivere un’estate piu’ serena, senza le ansie e le preoccupazioni legate al Covid.
