“È da irresponsabili lasciare il pronto soccorso dell’ospedale di Cosenza nelle condizioni di carenza d’organico in cui si trova. Il commissario dell’azienda ospedaliera, Giuseppina Panizzoli, deve assicurare alla popolazione del territorio cosentino un pronto soccorso efficiente”. Lo afferma, in una dichiarazione, il deputato del M5s, Massimo Misiti. “Mi risulta che ci siano solo 11 medici in organico – prosegue Misiti – invece dei 24 che, pare, siano necessari, per non parlare della carenza di infermieri. Il pronto soccorso dell’Annunziata, alla stessa stregua degli altri pronto soccorso della regione, è la struttura da sempre sottoposta più delle altre allo stress delle richiesta d’assistenza che giungono a Cosenza dall’intero territorio provinciale. Ci apprestiamo a vivere un autunno che potrebbe essere caratterizzato da una nuova ondata di Covid 19, a cui si aggiungerebbe la normale influenza che, coi primi freddi, colpisce una buona parte di popolazione”. “Esorto il commissario Panizzoli – sostiene ancora il parlamentare M5s – a non attendere oltre. Anche al commissario regionale alla sanità, il generale Saverio Cotticelli, chiedo un’azione pregnante per porre fine alla desolante carenza di personale tanto al pronto soccorso quanto in quasi tutti i reparti dell’Annunziata. La popolazione calabrese ha diritto ad una sanità che funzioni. Il momento di tergiversare è finito, ci vogliono azioni concrete. Solleciterò in proposito l’attenzione del ministro alla Sanità Roberto Speranza”.
