«L’Annunziata è al collasso. Riaprire subito gli ospedali chiusi e potenziare quelli di montagna per alleggerire il peso dell’emergenza Covid nel territorio provinciale e, da qui, partire con una nuova programmazione sanitaria che vada a superare decenni di disservizi e privazioni nell’erogazione del diritto alla salute. Nonostante l’Azienda ospedaliera di Cosenza abbia attivato quasi 120 posti letto in pochi giorni per affrontare la seconda e violenta ondata pandemica, ieri sera nel pronto soccorso bruzio c’erano ancora 30 persone in attesa di ricovero. Tutto questo mentre si attende ancora l’inutile installazione di ospedali da campo quando sarebbero subito pronti e disponibili posti letto in presidi che attendono solo di essere riaperti. Cosa si aspetta?»
È quanto afferma il Presidente del Gruppo UDC in Consiglio regionale nonché componente della commissione regionale Sanità che, dopo aver scritto ed interloquito con il Governo ed il Ministero della Salute sulla necessità di riattivare subito la rete ospedaliera territoriale, torna a denunciare l’incapacità decisionale e programmatica dell’Asp di Cosenza.
