CATANZARO. Si è svolta nel Parco delle Biodiversità Mediterranea, a Catanzaro, un’esercitazione del personale dei Vigili del Fuoco. L’esercitazione – spiega un comunicato – avente come obiettivo la ricerca di persone disperse, ha visto coinvolte 18 unità vigili del fuoco con specializzazioni TAS (Topografia Applicata al Soccorso), SAF (Speleo Alpino Fluviale) e TPSS (Trattamento Primo Soccorso Sanitario). Organizzati in piccole squadre coordinate dal Posto di Comando Avanzato (UCL), i vigili hanno dapprima effettuato delle battute nelle zone di ricerca assegnate, una volta individuati i dispersi hanno prestato i primi soccorsi come da procedura concludendo con il recupero dei feriti utilizzando le tecniche speleo alpine. L’esercitazione ha visto il personale impegnato adoperarsi in una serie di complesse operazioni, rese ancor più difficoltose dalle condizioni meteo avverse che hanno reso più verosimile lo scenario ipotizzato.
