CATANZARO. “È inammissibile la proposta, avanzata dalla commissione Salute della Conferenza delle Regioni, di un piano di ridimensionamento circa il rimborso delle cure fuori regione”. Lo affermano, in una nota, i parlamentari calabresi Cinquestelle Anna Laura Orrico, Rosa Silvana Abate, Bianca Laura Granato, Massimo Misiti, Francesco Sapia, Giuseppe D’Ippolito, Paolo Parentela e Alessandro Melicchio commentando la recente notizia, che sta allarmando operatori della sanità, associazioni e comitati di tutela. “Si tratterebbe – proseguono i pentastellati – di una prospettiva assurda, contraria al buon senso, al diritto alla salute che la Costituzione tutela come fondamentale, alla libertà di cura e al principio dell’universalità del Servizio sanitario nazionale. All’assessore alla Salute del Piemonte Antonio Saitta, del Partito democratico, chiediamo di conoscere le reali intenzioni della predetta commissione di cui è coordinatore, la quale a suo avviso sta lavorando per individuare modalità e strumenti che ‘rispetto ad eccessi della mobilità sanitaria fissino una regolamentazione delle strutture sanitarie del privato accreditato al Servizio sanitario nazionale ai fini di una maggiore appropriatezzà. Nel Sud, e in particolare in Calabria, l’emigrazione sanitaria – continuano i parlamentari M5s – comporta assieme drammi e speranze, per la Regione ha un costo annuo di circa 300 milioni e nasce dalle pessime gestioni politiche e amministrative del Servizio sanitario regionale, come dalla minore disponibilità di risorse statali in rapporto al fabbisogno di cure per i malati cronici”. “Nello specifico, il Movimento – concludono i parlamentari – ha da tempo avviato una battaglia per una diversa ripartizione del Fondo sanitario alle Regioni, basata, cioè, sui dati certificati di morbilità e co-morbilità, che alla Calabria garantirebbe circa 130 milioni all’anno in più, l’uscita dal commissariamento e dal Piano di rientro e la possibilità di riprogrammare l’assistenza sanitaria in modo da valorizzare le professionalità in servizio e migliorare le strutture esistenti al fine di ridurre l’emigrazione sanitaria”.
