Honda è stata una delle prime case automobilistiche ad aver prodotto sin dal 1999 e fino al 2005 un Suv di piccole dimensioni: la HR-V. Con un design originale e dalle dimensioni di appena quattro metri, la HR-V era definita una Joy Car per indicare una vettura multiuso per i giovani. Poi, dal 2005 Honda ha lasciato un buco nella produzione lungo dieci anni ed oggi, anche se un po’ in ritardo, colma questo vuoto riesumando il nome HR-V. Infatti, dopo l’esposizione della concept car al Salone dell’Automobile di Parigi dello scorso ottobre, la casa giapponese ha diffuso immagini e informazioni sulla versione definitiva del suo nuovo Suv che sarà in vendita sul mercato europeo da fine estate. Il modello HR-V ha il corpo vettura lungo circa 430 mm con un design solido come un Suv, dinamico come un coupè: la forte inclinazione del parabrezza evidenzia anche una versatilità che appartiene alle MPV. Come tutte le vetture Honda, HR-V dimostra una propensione costante all’innovazione tecnologica.
Internamente, i passeggeri possono godere di un notevole spazio. La capienza del bagagliaio è variabile grazie all’innovativo sistema Magic Seat di Honda. I sedili posteriori sono frazionabili nel rapporto 60:40 e possono adottare numerose configurazioni per ottimizzare la versatilità dell’abitacolo. “Utility” è una delle tante modalità che permette piegando lo schienale del sedile posteriore e abbassando la seduta del sedile, la realizzazione di un pavimento continuo, lungo e completamente piatto. L’interno della Honda HR-V 2015 è caratterizzato da una costruttività di buon livello, molto curato nei particolari con materiali morbidi . Il sistema audio e di informazione Honda Connect è attivabile tramite un display a sfioramento da sette pollici che collocato al centro della plancia consente l’accesso ad internet offrendo una serie di servizi: notizie in tempo reale, informazioni sul meteo e sul traffico, musica in streaming. Per il lancio sul mercato, il nuovo HR-V sarà dotato di due motori ad elevata efficienza, con prestazioni e consumi di carburante ridotti appartenenti alla generazione Earth Dreams Technology di Honda: un motore benzina 1.5 i-VTEC DA 130 cv con una trasmissione sia manuale che automatica CVT e un motore diesel 1.6 i-DTEC da 120 cv con cambio manuale. La trazione a due o a quattro ruote motrici. I prezzi di vendita saranno comunicati al momento del lancio.
