REGGIO CALABRIA, 20 FEB – “Basta con i minorenni che offendono e picchiano coetanei, anziani o disabili, per poi pubblicare tutto in Rete e raccogliere milioni di like, episodi purtroppo diffusi in tutto il mondo”. Lo afferma, in una dichiarazione, il sociologo Antonio Marziale, Garante per l’Infanzia e l’Adolescenza della Regione, che si dice “francamente stanco della mancanza di autorevolezza da parte di un mondo adulto che assiste inerte, fino a diventare complice, di un degrado quantitativamente in crescita esponenziale”. “Non c’è giorno in cui la cronaca – continua il Garante – non riporti atti di violenza inaudita destinati a risolversi in quel ‘nulla’ che finisce per incoraggiare la tendenza delinquenziale, da troppi ancora definita impropriamente ‘bullismo’ o ‘cyber bullismo’. Questa è violenza allo stato puro e i rimedi, volendo, ci sono, partendo dall’individuazione di madri e padri da multare pesantemente per mancato esercizio della responsabilità genitoriale, all’inflizione di lavori socialmente utili alla collettività ben visibili e per un periodo medio – lungo, fino alla bocciatura a scuola, perché si può eccellere in qualsiasi materia, ma se si è delinquenti va riconosciuta l’immaturità ad essere promossi”. Secondo Marziale, “le istituzioni non possono continuare a subire lo strapotere della Rete. Servono regole certe e limiti, almeno sul piano della tutela della dignità umana. Per questo sarebbe auspicabile che lo Stato infliggesse sanzioni a quanti permettono la pubblicazione di atti violenti sui propri server e anche a quanti cliccano ‘mi piace’, che non sono certo incolumi da responsabilità”.
