CATANZARO. Alla presenza del governatore Mario Oliverio e dell’assessore alle Politiche sociali, Angela Robbe, nella sede della Regione, a Catanzaro, è stato insediato ufficialmente il tavolo regionale finalizzato al contrasto e alla riduzione della povertà e dell’esclusione sociale. L’istituzione del tavolo, al quale partecipano, oltre alla Regione, il sistema delle autonomie locali a partire dai Comuni rappresentati dall’Anci Calabria, le organizzazioni sindacali, il forum del terzo settore, l’Alleanza regionale contro la povertà, è stata deliberata dalla Giunta Oliverio nell’ultima seduta del 29 giugno scorso. L’organismo ha il compito di attuare su scala regionale il Piano nazionale contro la povertà, che ha attivato risorse per complessivi 297 milioni per il 2018: nelle linee di indirizzo predisposte dalla Giunta Oliverio si prevede, in Calabria, l’utilizzo di risorse pari a circa 50 milioni nel triennio 2018-2020 (suddivisi in 13 milioni per il 2018, 15,5 per il 2019 e oltre 21 milioni per il 2020). Si tratta di risorse provenienti dal Fondo nazionale contro la povertà e dal Pon Inclusione sociale: ulteriori risorse saranno attivate dalla Regione con i fondi comunitari del Fse. “Il tavolo contro la povertà – ha spiegato l’assessore regionale Angela Robbe – nasce dall’esigenza di dare risposte quanto più possibili specifiche per ogni singolo nucleo. Si parte dall’individuazione dei bisogni per definire un progetto personalizzato, che prevede in primo luogo un’azione tesa a garantire attività lavorativa e quindi una serie di azioni di accompagnamento quando non si trova il lavoro per le difficili condizioni del mercato del lavoro. Contiamo di definire il piano regionale entro il 10 luglio, data in cui si riunisce il Comitato di sorveglianza dei programmi comunitari, perché è un piano fondamentale: il nostro obiettivo infatti – ha concluso l’assessore Robbe – è quello di attenuare le diseguaglianze sociali e le situazioni di marginalità che si sono prodotte negli ultimi anni. Trattandosi di un problema strutturale e non congiunturale, il Piano regionale è stato pensato come un sistema di livelli essenziali di prestazioni garantite nell’arco dei prossimi anni”.
Oliverio: “Regione pronta
a fare la sua parte
“La Regione vuole contribuire a contrastare la drammatica piaga della povertà”. Lo ha detto il governatore Mario Oliverio, intervenendo alla seduta di insediamento del tavolo regionale contro la povertà e l’esclusione sociale. “Abbiamo davanti – ha aggiunto – una piaga drammatica, europea e nazionale, con particolare accentuazione nelle regioni del Mezzogiorno come la nostra. Con il tavolo vogliamo mettere a punto gli interventi che abbiamo già definito con una strategia precisa. Si tratta di interventi che puntano ad affrontare i diversi aspetti che povertà ed esclusione sociale comportano. Il tavolo – ha spiegato Oliverio – è il primo passo di un percorso ancora più forte di cooperazione tra diversi soggetti che possono contribuire ad affrontare l’emergenza, dai Comuni alla rete associativa, per arrivare alle forze economiche e sociali, affinché si costruisca una rete di contrasto. È necessario infatti un intervento a vasto raggio, perché si tratta di un fenomeno diffuso su tutto il territorio, e la Regione, attraverso questa rete, vuole contribuire a contrastare questa drammatica piaga che – ha concluso il presidente – coinvolge migliaia di persone”.
