Era stato trovato carbonizzato nella sua auto nel novembre scorso. E ora dalle indagini emerge una pesante accusa nei confronti della moglie, arrestata ieri mattina insieme all’amante e al figlio del primo matrimonio. L’auto sarebbe stata data alle fiamme mentre era ancora vivo. I Carabinieri di Reggio Calabria con il coordinamento della Procura della Repubblica di Locri, hanno dato esecuzione all’ordinanza di custodia cautelare in carcere emessa dal gip presso il Tribunale di Locri nei confronti dei tre. I tre sono ritenuti responsabili, in concorso tra loro, dell’omicidio di Vincenzo Cordì, avvenuto nella Locride tra il 12 e il 13 novembre dello scorso anno. Sono Susanna Brescia, di 42 anni, con precedenti, Francesco Sfara, di 22, figlio di un precedente matrimonio della donna e Giuseppe Menniti, di 41, con precedenti di polizia e legato alla Brescia da una relazione sentimentale, le tre persone arrestate per l’omicidio di Vincenzo Cordì, l’uomo ucciso e bruciato, secondo gli investigatori, quando era ancora vivo nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 novembre 2019 in località Scialata di San Giovanni di Gerace, nella Locride. I carabinieri, nel corso delle indagini, hanno accertato che nella tarda serata del 12 novembre 2019 Susanna Brescia, con l’inganno, ha dapprima condotto Vincenzo Cordì in una località appartata e successivamente, con il concorso del figlio e dell’amante lo ha tramortito, cosparso di benzina e gli ha dato fuoco all’interno della propria autovettura. Avrebbe anche tentato di spingere le indagini degli inquirenti sull’ipotesi del suicidio del marito, Susanna Brescia la donna arrestata dai carabinieri perché ritenuta colpevole, assieme al figlio avuto da un precedente matrimonio e all’amante Giuseppe Menniti, dell’omicidio del coniuge Vincenzo Cordì trovato carbonizzato all’interno di un’auto, in novembre, nel territorio del comune di San Giovanni di Gerace, nella locride. La donna, al fine di depistare le indagini, secondo quanto emerso dalle indagini dei carabinieri della Compagnia di Roccella Jonica, coordinate dalla Procura di Locri, ha cercato di far credere agli inquirenti che il compagno avesse deciso di togliersi la vita a causa di un periodo di forte depressione che stava attraversando.
