PALERMO. “Ci sono dei ritardi e delle difficoltà nella spesa dei fondi strutturali. Ho incontrato il governo italiano e i presidenti delle Regioni Campania, Calabria e Sicilia e questo è stato ribadito. Negli ultimi due anni, sulla programmazione 2007-2013 sono stati fatti passi in avanti, ma occorre fare di più. Il 2015 sarà un anno cruciale: ci sono otto mesi di tempo per recuperare il tempo perduto e non perdere questa occasione”. Lo ha detto il commissario europeo per le Politiche regionali, Corina Cretu, a Palermo. “Occorre accelerare anche – ha aggiunto – sulla presentazione dei progetti per il nuovo settennato, progetti in grado soprattutto di aggredire la forte disoccupazione”. La Sicilia, in particolare, riceverà 3,2 miliardi di euro, “una cifra considerevole che deve essere ben spesa dentro un percorso condiviso tra Commissione Ue e Regione”.
