Tra Italia e Francia, sulla questione migranti, è quasi “rissa”. Ieri mattina la nave Ocean Viking è arrivata a Tolone. Meloni, si è detta molto colpita dalla reazione aggressiva della Francia. “Quando si parla di ritorsioni in una dinamica Ue qualcosa non funziona. La reazione del governo francese è incomprensibile e ingiustificabile”, ha sottolineato. “La richiesta di isolamento dell’Italia tradisce una dinamica Ue curiosa. Si parla di solidarietà e condivisione…voglio sperare che non accada, non sarebbe intelligente” per un’Ue che deve avere “un suo standing”, ha sottolineato Meloni, secondo la quale non bisogna isolare l’Italia ma gli scafisti. “Credo che valga la pena mettere insieme due numeri – ha aggiunto-: la nave Ocean Viking è la prima nave di una Ong che abbia mai attraccato in Francia con 230 migranti. Questo ha generato una reazione molto dura nei confronti dell’Italia che ha fatto entrare finora quasi 90mila emigranti” dall’inizio dell’anno. “Cosa fa arrabbiare- si è domandata Meloni? -. Il fatto che l’Italia deve essere l’unico porto di sbarco per i migranti del Mediterraneo? Questo non c’è scritto in nessun accordo”. Immediata la reazione di Parigi. “Con l’Italia si è rotta la fiducia”, ha detto la segretaria di Stato francese agli Affari Ue Laurence Bonne. Boone ha ricordato che Roma “si era impegnata nel meccanismo di solidarietà Ue” e che “i trattati si applicano al di là della vita di un governo, altrimenti se dovessimo cambiare ogni volta le regole sarebbe insostenibile. Il governo italiano attuale – ha continuato – non ha rispettato il meccanismo per il quale si era impegnato e si è rotta la fiducia. Credo lo si possa dire, perché c’è stata una decisione unilaterale che ha messo vite in pericolo e che, del resto, non è conforme al diritto internazionale”. Da giovedì, inoltre, sono entrati in vigore controlli rafforzati alla frontiera franco-italiana, decisi da Parigi dopo il rifiuto di Roma di accogliere la Ocean Viking.
