REGGIO CALABRIA. “La questione Eni-Crotone per i significati storici e sociali che sintetizza, incluse le fughe di responsabilità del colosso a “sei zampe” nel fronteggiare gli effetti disastrosi provocati al territorio dal processo di deindustrializzazione iniziato negli Anni ‘90, non è un’ordinaria vertenza tra Crotone e l’Eni”. Lo afferma in una nota la consigliera regionale di “Calabria in Rete”, Flora Sculco, che lunedì terrà una conferenza stampa a Crotone per illustrare l’ordine del giorno sulla vicenda Eni-Crotone approvato dal Consiglio regionale. “Anzi, è l’emblematica dimostrazione – aggiunge – dell’apporto notevole che il Sud ha dato e continua a dare al Paese (l’Eni estrae enormi quantità di metano pari a circa il 19% della produzione Italiana destinata al mercato nazionale ed internazionale) ricevendo in cambio spesso disattenzione e persino sberleffi. Il Consiglio regionale, con grande senso di responsabilità e senza differenziazioni, si è dotato di un documento che rappresenta, sulla questione specifica, la posizione della Calabria nei confronti dell’Eni e delle sue consociate. Una posizione assai avanzata, perché si sofferma non solo sull’analisi dei “fatti” e dei debiti dell’Eni ancora non onorati, ma contiene delle novità circa le prospettive di sviluppo su cui soffermarsi con la dovuta attenzione, anche in vista delle opportunità insite nel “masterplan” del Governo per il rilancio del Sud. Novità che interpellano sia le classi dirigenti del territorio che della Calabria nella sua interezza, affinché, superando posizionamenti difensivi e a volte autoreferenziali, elaborino progettualità innovative con l’obiettivo di produrre ricchezza e occupazione”.
