COSENZA. La procura di Cosenza ha aperto un’inchiesta sul caso di un bimbo che sarebbe nato già morto, ieri pomeriggio, all’ospedale dell’Annunziata di Cosenza. Risultano indagati tre sanitari, due ginecologi e un’ostetrica. Ma, come si apprende dalla procura, la loro iscrizione nel registro degli indagati è un atto dovuto. Disposta l’autopsia sul corpo del piccolo, che avrebbe anche la testa staccata dal resto del corpo. Il ministro della Salute, Beatrice Lorenzin, ha disposto l’invio di ispettori per verificare quanto accaduto. ”Nascere in Calabria è diventato un rischio, il che è inaccettabile. Occorre un intervento del governo, che non può limitarsi alle ispezioni ministeriali”. Lo denuncia la parlamentare M5s Dalila Nesci, che oggi ha presentato un’interrogazione rivolta al presidente del Consiglio e ai ministri della Salute e dell’Economia sull’ennesimo caso di neonato morto, stavolta presso l’ospedale di Cosenza. “È necessario – aggiunge – che tutte le istituzioni preposte, politiche e giudiziarie, facciano luce sul tragico accaduto. Gli ispettori del ministero della Salute accertino al più presto i fatti. Occorre, però, che il governo risolva le gravi insufficienze di personale e strutturali, che ci hanno riportato indietro nel tempo, privando pazienti e sanitari di tranquillità e sicurezza. Non è la prima volta che premo sull’emergenza delle nascite in Calabria. Appena venti giorni fa ho presentato un’altra interrogazione su un episodio simile e ancora da chiarire, avvenuto all’ospedale di Vibo Valentia”. “Gli effetti del piano di rientro in Calabria – conclude Nesci – sono devastanti, con la conseguenza surreale che nascere qui espone, paradossalmente e di fatto, alla morte. Il Movimento 5 stelle proseguirà la battaglia a tutela dei cittadini e del diritto alla salute sancito dall’articolo 32 della Costituzione, che prevede garanzie ben diverse dai riduttivi e incostituzionali livelli essenziali di assistenza”. “È intollerabile che nel 2016 un parto rischi sempre più spesso di trasformarsi in un dramma. Quanto accaduto nell’Unità operativa complessa di Ostetricia e Ginecologia dell’ospedale ‘Annunziata’ di Cosenza è un fatto gravissimo sul quale occorre fare massima chiarezza”. A chiederlo è il vicepresidente della Commissione Sanità del Senato, Maurizio Romani, dell’Italia dei Valori. L’esponente di Idv ha altresì annunciato che richiederà al ministro della Sanità, Beatrice Lorenzin “di allargare la verifica ispettiva a tutta la Calabria, dove la casistica delle conseguenze drammatiche dei parti è in preoccupante aumento. Occorre avviare un monitoraggio e verifiche capillari e rigorose: ove ci siano stati errori medici i responsabili vanno puniti, ma è anche vero che, nel contempo, nella sanità bisogna tornare ad investire per aumentare la qualità dei servizi erogati ai cittadini e prevenire disfunzioni”.
