VIBO VALENTIA. Si insedieranno nelle prossime ore i tre commissari straordinari che reggeranno le sorti del Comune di Tropea, i cui organi elettivi, rinnovati nel maggio 2014, sono stati sciolti per infiltrazioni mafiose. La Commissione di accesso agli atti era stata insediata il 23 ottobre 2015 dalla Prefettura di Vibo Valentia e l’invio era scaturito da riferimenti a candidati delle liste contrapposte “Tropea Futura” e “Forza Tropea” nelle inchieste “Black money” e “Peter Pan” contro i clan Mancuso di Limbadi e La Rosa di Tropea. Segnalazioni erano poi giunte in Prefettura in ordine a contratti, appalti, forniture, gestione del porto, piano strutturale, frequentazioni e parentele di alcuni consiglieri comunali ed assessori con soggetti noti alle forze dell’ordine. All’attenzione della Prefettura sia gli atti della precedente amministrazione, sia quelli dell’attuale sindaco. Giuseppe Rodolico. Quest’ultimo, ritenendo che la gestione del Comune da parte dei commissari straordinari, anzichè dagli organi elettivi, possa ora causare “danni irreparabili all’economia del territorio”, preannuncia ricorso al Tar per chiedere il “ripristino” della sua amministrazione. Il sindaco dichiara poi di “aspettare le motivazioni alla base dello scioglimento, ma di essere in ogni caso sicuro della bontà” del suo operato.
