CATANZARO. “La decisione del Consiglio regionale di procedere all’istituzione di una commissione per la riforma dello Statuto è estremamente positiva. A distanza di dieci anni dal licenziamento della carta costitutiva è oltremodo significativo cogliere le esigenze di ristrutturazione dell’impalcatura istitutiva”. Lo afferma il sen. Antonio Gentile, coordinatore regionale del Ncd , secondo il quale “sul cammino delle riforme è indispensabile che tutte le forze politiche presenti in assemblea possano esprimere il loro parere e dare il loro contributo. Credo anche – continua – che sia necessario, con decisione e spirito di garanzia, chiarire una volta per tutte la fondatezza delle questioni del Mef , istituendo una commissione esterna composta da tre magistrati di spessore o da soggetti in pensione che abbiano dato lustro alle istituzioni e sulla cui moralità non c’è nulla da eccepire . Non possiamo aspettare semplicemente la decisione della Corte dei Conti, poiché se essa fosse negativa comporterebbe un danno erariale con responsabilità individuali. Analizzare le singole contestazioni, nella più ampia garanzia di contraddittorio, sarebbe il miglior modo per anticipare le decisioni della magistratura contabile e far capire che la politica sa assumersi le sue responsabilità. È una proposta – conclude – che formulo non solo ad Oliverio e Scalzo, ma anche al segretario regionale del Pd, Ernesto Magorno, in uno spirito propositivo e in rappresentanza di un partito, Ncd, che sa conciliare le esigenze di garantismo con quelle di giustizia”.
