Manca poco all’anticipo di venerdì sera tra Rende e Catanzaro al “Marco Lorenzon”. Seconda giornata di un campionato ancora spezzatino, con molte formazioni che salteranno anche il secondo appuntamento e quindi rinvieranno ancora l’esordio stagionale. Ma Rende e Catanzaro, invece, hanno già esordito domenica scorsa, conseguendo entrambe due belle vittorie. I biancorossi sono stati padroni a Pagani, stritolando i campani nettamente piu’ fragili con una prestazione devastante specialmente in attacco dove Rossini e Vivacqua hanno imperversato dall’inizio alla fine. I giallorossi, invece, hanno piegato la strenua resistenza del Potenza, sucito sconfitto dallo stadio Ceravolo. La squadra di Auteri, tra le superfavorite del girone, specie se il Catania dovesse esser ripescato in serie B, ha iniziato la stagione col piede giusto, guadagnando il passaggio del turno in Coppa Italia e bagnando l’esordio in campionato col successo ai danni dei lucani. Ora il secondo step, quello di Rende. Proprio lì dove lo scorso anno il Catanzaro perse 2 a 1, segnando l’esonero di Erra e dove inizio’ un percorso di ridimensionamento dopo le ambizioni di promozione di inizio anno. Ma quelle di quest’anno sono condizioni completamente diverse: una squadra costruita in anticipo dal ds Logiudice e dal tecnico Auteri, una società che vuole la promozione ed una tifoseria che insegue il sogno con la consapevolezza che stavolta ci sono tutte le credenziali per realizzarlo: società solida, squadra attrezzata, il Catanzaro quest’anno non puo’ fallire. Ma a Rende non troverà il tappeto rosso. Saranno 400 i tifosi al seguito della squadra di Auteri che verranno sistemati in curva.
