“La paventata ipotesi di rinviare ulteriormente, addirittura a settembre o ad ottobre, le elezioni per il rinnovo del Consiglio Regionale della Calabria e del Presidente della Giunta, costituiscono una iattura non comune alle altre amministrazioni interessate alle consultazioni, i cui servizi si avvantaggiano di prorogatio, mentre per la Calabria significa rimanere in una emergenza entro l’emergenza, nei parametri di un lusso che non si può permettere”. Lo afferma il sociologo Antonio Marziale, che nella scorsa legislatura ha ricoperto il ruolo di Autorità Garante per l’Infanzia e l’Adolescenza della Regione Calabria. “L’attività legislativa del Consiglio – prosegue – è limitata ad atti indifferibili ed urgenti, le proposte legislative delle Commissioni non oltrepassano l’uscio della stanza dove vengono elaborate, per non parlare di uffici allo stato inesistenti, come il Corecom e il Garante per l’Infanzia e l’Adolescenza. Tutto in un territorio che avrebbe urgente necessità di una programmazione ordinaria per uscire da un’emergenza che precede il Covid e gli succederà a tinte sempre più fosche. È chiaro ai più che il rinvio sarà ufficialmente dichiarato su scala nazionale per il contenimento della pandemia, ma la ragione di fondo è quella di non guastare il clima da ‘volemose bene’ necessario a mantenere in piedi il Governo delle larghe intese. Ed è altrettanto vero che lasciare la Calabria in queste condizioni significa non tenerla in considerazione, come sempre”.
